The Property Partners Recruitment Salary Report provides insight into the latest salaries, trends, and benefits across the surveying and project management market. This year’s data reflects feedback from professionals across our core regions, including Hampshire, Dorset, Wiltshire, Sussex, Surrey, Berkshire, and Oxfordshire.

Despite the wider economic challenges, and the increased employment costs introduced by Chancellor Rachel Reeves demand for surveyors and project managers has remained resilient in 2025.

Newly chartered surveyors in particular remain in high demand, particularly newly qualified building surveyors. We have seen a spike in demand for General Practice surveyors specifically with lease advisory experience, as well as Project Managers at either PM or Senior PM level.

While salary growth has not surged, the market remains upwardly mobile. Our data shows that just under 82% of respondents received a pay rise in the last 12 months, with the average salary increase equating to 5.7%.

As seen in previous years, the largest salary uplifts occurred among those who:

Became chartered – 13% increase

Changed employers – 10.5% increase

Achieved internal promotions – 10.4% increase
