An exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join a Multi-disciplinary Construction Consultancy based in Plymouth. Working alongside the Partners the successful candidate will focus on a range of public sector works, including schools, colleges, hospitals and office buildings with project values from £300k up to £100M.
Role and responsibilities of the Project Manager:
- Take projects from inception to completion
- Writing project briefs, consultant specifications
- Appointment of external consultants and contractors
- Supervision of external consultants
- Cost control and financial management of projects
Skills and experience of the Project Manager:
- Either Consultancy or contractor side PM experience
- Public sector experience would be beneficial (not essential)
- MRICS/MCIOB/MAPM qualifications would be beneficial
- Excellent communication skills (written & oral)
Salary and benefits:
- £35k – £55k DOE
