Building Surveyor – Bournemouth (APC / MRICS)
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Building Surveyor to join a well-established, multi-disciplinary construction and property consultancy in Bournemouth.
Originally founded as a building surveying practice, the business has grown into a highly regarded consultancy delivering services across Building Surveying, Project Management, Quantity Surveying and Dispute Resolution. They work across a wide range of sectors including commercial, residential, education, healthcare and public sector projects.
This role is ideally suited to someone part-way through their APC or newly chartered, looking to develop within a supportive and technically strong environment. Full APC support is provided.
Role & Responsibilities of the Building Surveyor:
- Undertaking a range of building surveying services across multiple sectors
- Carrying out condition surveys, defect diagnosis and technical reporting
- Supporting and delivering contract administration on refurbishment projects
- Preparing specifications and schedules of work
- Supporting planned maintenance and asset management instructions
- Liaising with clients, contractors and consultants
- Managing your own workload with support from senior team members
Skills & Experience of the Building Surveyor:
- Degree in Building Surveying or related discipline
- Part-way through APC or recently MRICS qualified
- Strong technical understanding of construction and building pathology
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Proactive and keen to develop within a consultancy environment
Salary & Benefits:
