Assistant Building Surveyor

Are you part-way through your APC but looking for more support? If so this is the ideal opportunity to join a small, independent consultancy who undertake a range of professional and project building surveying work. Their director is an RICS APC assessor with extensive experience supporting surveyors to become chartered.

Role & Responsibilities of the Assistant Building Surveyor:

  • Assist in delivering a range of building surveying services, including surveys, inspections, and defect analysis
  • Support in preparing specifications, schedules of work, and contract administration
  • Undertake building surveys, dilapidations assessments, and party wall matters
  • Contribute to project management on refurbishment and maintenance schemes

Skills & Experience of the Assistant Building Surveyor:

  • A degree in Building Surveying or a related discipline (essential)
  • 1-2 years plus practical experience in building surveying
  • Part-way through APC with eagerness to learn and progress towards MRICS qualification
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated, organised, and capable of managing your workload effectively
