A leading independent building surveying practice is seeking a Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS) to join their growing team, delivering high-quality technical and project services across a diverse commercial client base.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced surveyor looking for more autonomy, progression, and a role where your contribution genuinely makes an impact. You’ll work closely with senior leadership and take ownership of a varied, high-quality workload.
Role & Responsibilities of the Chartered Building Surveyor:
- Mix of professional and project biased building surveying (duties can be tailored to your experience)
- Prepare specifications and schedules of work
- Deliver contract administration and manage projects through to completion
- Handle dilapidations (landlord & tenant) and advise on lease-related matters
- Carry out reinstatement cost assessments and schedules of condition
- Manage client relationships and provide clear, proactive technical advice
- Support junior team members where required
Skills & Experience:
- MRICS Chartered Building Surveyor (essential)
- Strong technical expertise across either project and professional work
- Confident client communicator with a commercial mindset
- Ability to manage your own workload and work autonomously
- Full UK driving licence
