An excellent opportunity has arisen for an RCA Building Surveyor to join a forward-thinking consultancy providing market-leading services across the UK property sector. This is a varied role, ideal for an experienced surveyor looking to develop their career within a supportive and innovative environment.
The role will be home-based covering a patch across Hampshire & Sussex.
Role & Responsibilities of the RCA Building Surveyor:
- Carry out Reinstatement Cost Assessments (RCAs) in line with RICS guidance.
- Provide technical expertise on complex buildings within the client portfolio.
- Undertake and quality check RCA reports, including schedules and costings using BCIS data.
- Share technical knowledge and provide CPD support within the surveying team.
- Support the management of sub-teams within the RCA environment.
- Build strong client relationships and assist in identifying new business opportunities.
- Ensure strong communication with internal teams, including major works projects.
Skills & Experience of the RCA Building Surveyor:
- MRICS qualified.
- Proven experience in building surveying or cost assessment, ideally including RCAs.
- Technical expertise across a range of property types.
- Strong understanding of health & safety regulations and contractor management.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
- Commercial awareness and ability to support wider business growth.
