A leading national property consultancy is seeking an ambitious RICS Registered Valuer to join their Southampton team, with opportunities available up to Associate Director level.
This is an excellent opportunity to step into a high-performing valuation team working with an extensive lender client base—including high street banks, private banks, insurance companies and challenger banks—while gaining exposure to a wide range of commercial assets and specialist valuation instructions.
You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality loan security valuations, portfolio valuations, financial reporting, litigation support, fund valuations and more. The work is varied, fast-paced and intellectually rewarding, with your advice directly shaping major lending and investment decisions.

Role & Responsibilities of the Valuation Surveyor:
- Deliver commercial property valuations for loan security and other purposes
- Produce clear, accurate and market-led valuation reports
- Undertake portfolio valuations and specialist/alternative sector valuations where required
- Maintain strong client relationships and contribute to business development
- Ensure compliance with RICS standards, Red Book requirements and lender criteria
- Support junior team members (for Senior/Associate Director levels)
Skills & Experience:
- RICS Registered Valuer (essential)
- Experience delivering loan security valuations
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Confident communicator with client-facing experience
- Motivated, commercially aware and keen to progress
