An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a specialist property and construction consultancy with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects, predominately within the education sector.
This is a client-facing, delivery-focused role, ideal for a Senior Project Manager who enjoys leading projects from inception through to completion on refurbishment, extension and new-build schemes.
Role & Responsibilities of the Senior Project Manager:
- Leading education projects from feasibility through to completion
- Acting as the key client contact and managing stakeholder relationships
- Managing project programmes, risks and reporting
- Coordinating consultants and contractors to ensure smooth delivery
- Chairing project meetings and overseeing works on site
- Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard
- Supporting junior team members and contributing to team development
Skills & Experience of the Senior Project Manager:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within a consultancy or client-side environment
- Experience delivering construction projects, ideally within the education sector
- Strong understanding of project delivery processes and contract administration
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
- Professional qualification (RICS, CIOB, APM or similar) preferred but not essential
Salary & Benefits:
- £60,000 – £70,000 base salary
