An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Valuation Surveyor to join a well-established property and construction consultancy in Winchester. This role will focus primarily on residential property valuations, with structured training and support provided for those interested in developing commercial valuation skills.
You’ll be working within a friendly and supportive team, undertaking a variety of valuation instructions for private clients, lenders, developers and institutional clients. The role offers strong professional development, exposure to diverse work and the chance to progress your career in valuations.
Role & Responsibilities of the Valuation Surveyor:
- Undertaking residential property valuations for private clients and lenders
- Preparing clear, accurate and RICS-compliant valuation reports
- Supporting commercial valuation work (training provided)
- Liaising with clients, solicitors, agents and stakeholders
- Conducting desktop reviews and on-site inspections
- Supporting business development with quality client service
- Maintaining strong professional standards and compliance with RICS requirements
Skills & Experience of the Valuation Surveyor:
- MRICS or AssocRICS
- Registered Valuer
- Confident communicator with excellent report-writing skills
- Commercial awareness and keen to develop further valuation expertise
- Full UK driving licence preferable
