An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Graduate / Trainee Commercial Agency Surveyor to join a highly respected independent property consultancy with an established reputation across the South Coast.
Working alongside an experienced team of Chartered Surveyors and property professionals, this role offers an excellent platform to launch and develop a successful career in commercial property. You’ll gain exposure to a wide variety of transactions across the office, industrial, retail and investment sectors while receiving structured training and support towards professional qualifications.
This role would suit an ambitious graduate or trainee surveyor looking to build a career within commercial agency, taking on genuine responsibility while developing long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Role and Responsibilities of the Graduate / Trainee Commercial Agency Surveyor:
- Assisting with the sale and letting of commercial property across Dorset, Hampshire and the wider South Coast
- Supporting senior surveyors with property inspections and viewings
- Preparing marketing particulars and property details
- Assisting with lease negotiations and commercial transactions
- Undertaking market research and analysing comparable evidence
- Developing relationships with landlords, occupiers, developers and investors
- Supporting the acquisition and disposal of commercial property
- Assisting with investment and development instructions
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
Skills & Experience of the Graduate / Trainee Commercial Agency Surveyor:
- Degree qualified in Real Estate, Property Management or a property experience (residential agency will be considered)
- Strong interest in pursuing a career within commercial property agency
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commercially aware with a genuine interest in the property market
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Motivated, ambitious and eager to develop professionally
- Full UK driving licence preferred
Salary & Benefits:
- £25,000 – £32,000 basic salary (depending on experience)
