- Estates Surveyor – Swanwick, Southampton

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Estates Surveyor to join Premier Marinas, one of the UK’s leading marina operators, managing a diverse and growing commercial property portfolio across the South Coast.
Based at the Head Office in Swanwick Marina, you’ll work across a varied estate incorporating 23 marinas with a mix of commercial and residential property. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded surveyor looking to broaden their experience across estate management, landlord & tenant matters, while enjoying genuine long-term career progression within a growing business.
Role and Responsibilities of the Estates Surveyor:
- Managing landlord & tenant matters across a diverse commercial and residential portfolio
- Negotiating lettings, lease renewals and other property agreements
- Liaising with tenants, agents, solicitors and external consultants
- Assisting with service charge administration
- Working with the maintenance team to ensure properties are maintained and ready for occupation
- Identifying voids and coordinating refurbishment projects
- Supporting the delivery of departmental income targets
- Preparing reports on rents, budgets and estate management matters
- Supporting the continued growth and development of the estate portfolio
Skills & Experience:
- MRICS qualified is preferred
- Experienced surveyors but not chartered, along with those nearing chartership will also be considered with salary dependent on experience
- Experience within Estates Management, Property Management or General Practice
- Strong knowledge of landlord & tenant matters
- Excellent commercial awareness and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities across a varied portfolio
- Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills
- Full UK driving licence
