An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Estates Manager to join MDL Marinas, one of the UK’s leading marina and waterfront property operators, managing a diverse and high-quality estate across the South Coast.
Reporting directly to the Estates Director, this role will take ownership of a varied marina property portfolio, ensuring strong commercial performance, excellent tenant relationships, and full statutory compliance. The position plays a key role in supporting MDL Marinas’ commercial objectives, maximising asset value, and delivering a first-class service to marina teams and tenants.
Role & Responsibilities of the Estates Manager:
- Day-to-day estate management of MDL Marinas’ commercial property portfolio
- Managing lettings, tenant enquiries, lease renewals, rent reviews, and landlord & tenant matters
- Identifying opportunities for asset optimisation, income growth, and value creation
- Preparation and management of rent, service charge, and insurance budgets
- Coordinating service charge reconciliations and responding to tenant queries
- Ensuring compliance with statutory obligations and health & safety requirements
- Managing vacant properties, rates mitigation, and marketing for re-letting
Skills & Experience of the Estates Manager:
- MRICS qualified or part-way through APC
- Proven experience managing a commercial or mixed-use property portfolio
- Strong knowledge of landlord & tenant legislation
- Experience with service charge budgeting and administration
- Full UK driving licence
Salary & Benefits:
- £35,000 – £55,000 depending on experience
- APC support (where required)
