We’re pleased to be working exclusively to recruit a Quantity Surveying director to join a highly respected independent construction consultancy in Winchester, leading and developing their established Quantity Surveying team.
This is a rare opportunity for a Director looking to play a pivotal role in the strategic growth of the business. Working alongside an experienced leadership team, you’ll help shape the future of the Quantity Surveying division while delivering exceptional projects across the prime residential, heritage, education, luxury hospitality and commercial sectors. The consultancy has built its reputation over many decades by delivering complex, high-value projects for some of the UK’s most prestigious private clients, institutions and estates.
Role and Responsibilities of the Director of Quantity Surveying:
- Leading and developing the Quantity Surveying team
- Managing a portfolio of prestigious, high-value construction projects
- Building and maintaining long-term client relationships
- Delivering high-quality pre and post-contract Quantity Surveying services
- Providing strategic commercial advice to private and institutional clients
- Supporting business development and winning new work
- Mentoring and developing junior and senior team members
- Contributing to business strategy and the continued growth of the consultancy
- Ensuring the highest standards of commercial management and client service
Skills & Experience:
- Significant Quantity Surveying experience within a consultancy environment
- Previous leadership level experience
- Strong pre and post-contract knowledge
- Excellent commercial awareness and business development skills
- Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Strong leadership, mentoring and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience delivering complex, high-value projects across a range of sectors
Salary & Benefits:
- £90,000 – £100,000 base salary
