An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Agency Surveyor to join a highly respected independent property consultancy with an established reputation across the South Coast.
Predominately covering Dorset, you’ll be involved in a diverse range of commercial agency instructions, including sales, lettings, acquisitions and disposals across office, industrial, retail and investment property. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious surveyor looking to take the next step in their career, with the potential to operate at Associate or Director level and play a key role in growing the agency business.
Role and Responsibilities of the Commercial Agency Surveyor:
- Managing the sale and letting of commercial property across the region
- Advising clients on acquisitions, disposals and marketing strategies
- Undertaking property inspections and preparing marketing particulars
- Negotiating transactions and progressing deals through to completion
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with landlords, occupiers, investors and developers
- Identifying new business opportunities and generating instructions
- Providing market advice and preparing comparable evidence
- Supporting the growth and development of the commercial agency team
- Developing long-term client relationships and repeat business
Skills & Experience of the Commercial Agency Surveyor:
- MRICS qualified or significant relevant commercial agency experience
- Proven track record within commercial property agency
- Strong knowledge of the Hampshire and/or Dorset commercial property markets
- Excellent negotiation and client-facing skills
- Commercially minded with strong business development abilities
- Able to work autonomously while contributing to a wider team
- Strong communication, organisational and analytical skills
- Full UK driving licence
Salary & Benefits:
- Up to £70,000 basic salary depending on experience and level
