An excellent opportunity has come available for an Assistant Building Surveyor to join a well-established multidisciplinary building consultancy in Ascot, Berkshire.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with 1+ years’ practical experience to develop their career within a supportive team, working across a wide range of sectors including education, commercial and residential projects.
The business provides a full range of building surveying services across the lifecycle of buildings, including maintenance, refurbishment and project delivery .
You will gain exposure to both professional and project work, with full support towards APC and chartership (MRICS).
Role & Responsibilities of the Assistant Building Surveyor:
- Assisting with contract administration on refurbishment and new build projects
- Supporting condition surveys and defect diagnosis
- Assisting with preparation of specifications and schedules of work
- Assisting with planned maintenance programmes
- Supporting project delivery from inception through to completion
- Liaising with clients, contractors and consultants
- Supporting senior surveyors across a range of instructions
Skills & Experience of the Assistant Building Surveyor:
- Degree in Building Surveying or a related discipline
- Minimum 1 year practical building surveying experience
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Motivated, proactive and keen to learn
- Ability to work as part of a team
Salary & Benefits:
