- Project Manager – up to Associate Director – Southampton | Home Based
- Up to £75,000 plus package
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager (up to Associate Director) to join a specialist, forward-thinking property consultancy working with high-profile occupier, investor and developer clients.
This role offers the opportunity to lead a diverse range of commercial projects from inception through to completion, delivering high-quality project management services across refurbishment, fit-out, development and asset improvement schemes. You’ll be part of a dynamic and agile team, taking ownership of projects while developing your career within a supportive and growing consultancy.
The role will be predominately home-based with travel to sites required and to either the Southampton or London office.
Role & Responsibilities of the Project Manager (up to Associate Director):
- Managing commercial projects from feasibility through to completion
- Acting as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle
- Developing project briefs, programmes and procurement strategies
- Managing consultant teams and contractor appointments
- Administering JCT building contracts and overseeing project delivery
- Monitoring project costs, risks and programmes to ensure successful delivery
- Chairing project meetings and coordinating stakeholders
- Providing strategic project advice to occupiers, investors and developers
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships while identifying opportunities for repeat business
Skills & Experience of the Project Manager:
- Degree qualified in Project Management, Building Surveying or a related construction discipline
- MRICS, MAPM or equivalent professional qualification desirable
- Consultancy project management experience delivering commercial property projects
- Strong understanding of JCT contracts and construction procurement
- Commercial awareness with the ability to provide pragmatic advice
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Comfortable travelling to sites regionally and nationally
Salary & Benefits:
- Up to £75,000 base salary (depending on experience)
