- £45,000 – £55,000 plus package
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Residential Building Surveyor to join a growing and well-regarded firm delivering high-quality residential surveying services. The patch will be dependent on the surveyor but they are looking for someone to cover North Hampshire, Reading/Berkshire or Guildford/Surrey.
The role offers a strong pipeline of work, professional autonomy and the support of an established brand. You’ll be responsible for delivering RICS Level 2 & 3 Home Surveys and Red Book valuations, working independently while maintaining high professional standards.
Role & Responsibilities of the Residential Building Surveyor:
- Undertaking RICS Level 2 and Level 3 Home Surveys
- Carrying out RICS Red Book valuations (non-lender)
- Producing clear, accurate and well-structured reports
- Managing your own workload and diary efficiently
- Liaising with clients and stakeholders in a professional manner
- Ensuring compliance with RICS standards and CPD requirements
Skills & Experience of the Residential Building Surveyor:
- AssocRICS, MRICS or FRICS qualified
- Proven experience delivering Level 2 and Level 3 surveys
- Experience undertaking Red Book valuations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Confident working independently
- Full UK driving licence and own vehicle
- RICS Registered Valuer desirable but not essential
