An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Senior Chartered Building Surveyor to join a well-established, multidisciplinary construction consultancy in Bristol. This role offers the chance to work on a broad range of projects across sectors including commercial, residential, education, healthcare and public sector.
You will be joining a collaborative building surveying team, taking a lead role on project and professional work, with clear progression opportunities and strong support from senior leadership.
Role & Responsibilities of the Senior Chartered Building Surveyor:
- Delivering a wide range of building surveying services across multiple sectors
- Undertaking building surveys, condition surveys and defect diagnosis
- Leading project-based work including refurbishment and new build schemes
- Preparing specifications, schedules of work and tender documentation
- Contract administration under JCT contracts
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients and consultants
- Supporting and mentoring junior surveyors and APC candidates
Skills & Experience of the Senior Chartered Building Surveyor:
- MRICS qualified
- Strong consultancy background in building surveying
- Experience across both professional and project work
- Good working knowledge of JCT contracts
- Confident client-facing communicator
- Full UK driving licence
Salary & Benefits:
- £50,000 – £60,000 base salary
