We’re pleased to be working on a fantastic opportunity for a Surveyor or Senior Surveyor (up to Associate level) to join a leading multi-disciplinary property consultancy, working on one of the UK’s most prestigious coastal estate portfolios.
This is a rare and highly rewarding role, offering the chance to manage a unique mix of commercial, leisure, and marine assets including ports, marinas, rivers, estuaries, moorings, jetties, bridges, tunnels, and infrastructure agreements.
You’ll join a supportive and collaborative team, delivering a blend of estate management, valuation, landlord & tenant, and professional advisory work—while also helping to identify and develop new opportunities across the portfolio.
Role & Responsibilities of the Surveyor / Associate Surveyor:
- Day-to-day management of a diverse coastal estate across the South East and South West.
- Manage commercial and marine-related lettings including marinas, moorings, jetties, wharfs, pipelines, bridges, and associated infrastructure.
- Undertake rent reviews, lease renewals and general landlord & tenant matters.
- Handle new enquiries and negotiate leases, licences, disposals and consents.
- Manage encroachments and ensure compliance across the estate.
- Promote Health & Safety standards across all sites.
- Attend client forums, tenant meetings and related events.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities to support portfolio growth.
- Produce high-quality financial and client reporting as needed.
Skills & Experience of the Surveyor / Associate Surveyor
- MRICS qualified (or working towards this).
- Strong background in commercial, rural, marine or infrastructure property management.
- Confident managing a varied caseload and building strong relationships with tenants and stakeholders.
- Proactive, commercially aware.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
