- Senior/Associate Building Surveyor – Southampton / Hybrid
- Up to £65,000 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits
This is an excellent opportunity to join a modern, growing Building Consultancy delivering a wide range of commercial Building Surveying services across the South. Working with landlords, occupiers, investors and developers, you’ll provide professional advice across a varied commercial property portfolio, with a particular focus on dilapidations, landlord and tenant matters, technical due diligence and project work.

Role and Responsibilities of the Senior Building Surveyor:
- Undertake landlord and tenant work including dilapidations, schedules of condition and licences for alterations
- Deliver technical due diligence, acquisition and pre-lease surveys
- Carry out defect diagnosis, building pathology and reinstatement cost assessments
- Prepare specifications of works and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) reports
- Manage refurbishment, repair and maintenance projects across commercial property portfolios
- Provide contract administration services on a range of commercial projects
- Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, occupiers, investors and developers
- Support junior surveyors and contribute to the continued growth of the Building Surveying team
- Deliver commercially focused advice and exceptional client service
Skills & Experience:
- MRICS qualified (or working towards chartership with relevant experience)
- Strong commercial Building Surveying background
- Experience in dilapidations and landlord & tenant matters
- Knowledge of contract administration and project delivery
- Excellent technical report writing and communication skills
- Commercially minded with a proactive and client-focused approach
- Full UK driving licence
