Residential Surveyor – East Hampshire / West Sussex
An established independent surveying practice is looking to appoint an experienced Residential Surveyor to cover East Hampshire and West Sussex.
This is a great opportunity for a surveyor who enjoys working independently and wants a defined geographical patch without being part of a large corporate surveying business.
The territory will broadly cover Fareham across to Worthing and north towards Petersfield, offering a good concentration of work across Hampshire and West Sussex.
You’ll join an established surveying practice with a strong local presence, a supportive team and an attractive package including a £5,000 car allowance, private medical insurance and mileage paid at 55p per mile.
Role & Responsibilities
- Undertake residential surveys across East Hampshire and West Sussex
- Complete RICS Level 2 and Level 3 Home Surveys
- Carry out residential valuation work where required
- Produce clear, accurate and comprehensive reports for clients
- Manage your own workload and diary across a defined geographical patch
- Provide professional advice to residential clients
- Maintain high standards of client care and service
- Work closely with the wider surveying and administrative team
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience undertaking residential surveys
- MRICS or AssocRICS qualification preferred
- RICS Registered Valuer status would be advantageous
- Experience producing RICS Level 2 and Level 3 reports
- Strong report writing and communication skills
- Able to manage your own workload effectively
- Good knowledge of residential property and common building defects
- Full UK driving licence
