An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager to join a highly respected independent property and construction consultancy based in Winchester. Renowned for delivering high-quality projects across the public and private sectors, the consultancy has built an excellent reputation for providing expert project management and professional consultancy services across a diverse range of developments.
Working alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team, you’ll manage projects from inception through to completion, taking ownership of client relationships and ensuring successful project delivery. This role would suit an ambitious Project Manager looking to work on a varied portfolio while benefiting from genuine career progression within a supportive and growing consultancy.
Role and Responsibilities of the Project Manager:
- Managing construction projects from inception through to completion
- Acting as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle
- Preparing project programmes and monitoring progress against key milestones
- Coordinating design teams, contractors and other project stakeholders
- Managing project budgets, risks and change control processes
- Procuring consultants and contractors and overseeing tender processes
- Chairing project meetings and preparing progress reports
- Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards
- Building and maintaining strong long-term client relationships
Skills & Experience of the Project Manager:
- Degree qualified in Project Management, Construction Management, Building Surveying or a related construction discipline
- Experience managing construction projects within a consultancy environment
- Strong knowledge of project delivery from feasibility through to completion
- Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills
- Strong communication and client-facing abilities
- Commercially aware with excellent problem-solving skills
- MRICS, MAPM or working towards professional accreditation would be advantageous
- Full UK driving licence
Salary & Benefits:
- £45,000 – £60,000 basic salary (depending on experience)
