An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Agent to join a growing property consultancy based in Brighton, working across the Brighton and wider Sussex commercial property market.
The role will involve handling a varied range of agency instructions across retail, office, industrial and mixed-use property, working with landlords, investors, owners and occupiers. You’ll be involved in sales, lettings and acquisitions while developing relationships with existing clients and helping to generate new business across the region.
This would suit an ambitious Commercial Agent looking for greater responsibility, a varied workload and the opportunity to play an important role in the continued growth of an expanding commercial agency team.
Role and Responsibilities of the Commercial Agent:
- Manage commercial sales and letting instructions from initial appraisal through to completion
- Undertake property inspections, market appraisals and viewings
- Advise landlords, investors and occupiers on commercial property transactions
- Negotiate heads of terms and progress transactions through to completion
- Prepare marketing recommendations and oversee property marketing campaigns
- Identify and secure new agency instructions across Brighton and Sussex
- Develop relationships with existing and prospective clients
Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience within commercial property agency
- Good knowledge of the Brighton, Sussex or wider South East commercial property market would be advantageous
- Experience of commercial sales and lettings
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Commercially minded with the ability to develop client relationships
- Proactive approach to winning new instructions and generating business
- MRICS qualification desirable but not essential
- Full UK driving licence
