- Senior Project Manager – Southampton / Hybrid – 1 day in the office per week

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Senior Construction Project Manager to join a specialist, forward-thinking property consultancy working with developers and private clients across a range of high-quality residential and commercial projects.
The role will have a strong residential focus, with around 70–80% of the workload comprising houses and apartment developments, alongside commercial projects including offices, retail, PBSA and hospitality. You’ll take responsibility for projects from inception through to completion, with schemes typically ranging from £1m to £30m.
Role & Responsibilities of the Senior Construction Project Manager:
- Lead residential development projects from inception through to completion
- Manage projects ranging in value from £1m to £30m
- Act as Employer’s Agent under JCT Design & Build contracts
- Undertake Contract Administration across traditional and Design & Build projects
- Advise developer clients on procurement strategies and project delivery
- Manage programmes, budgets, risks and key project milestones
- Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring successful delivery
- Build and maintain strong relationships with developer and private clients
Skills & Experience:
- Significant Project Management experience, ideally within a consultancy or client-side environment
- Strong track record delivering residential development projects
- Experience managing projects between £1m and £30m
- Good knowledge of JCT contracts, including Design & Build
- Experience acting as Employer’s Agent
- Strong Contract Administration experience
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- MRICS or MCIOB desirable but not essential
Salary & Benefits:
- Up to £75,000 base salary, depending on experience
