An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Associate Building Surveyor to join a highly respected independent property consultancy with an excellent reputation across the South Central region.
Working alongside an experienced team of Chartered Surveyors, you’ll deliver a varied mix of professional and project work while helping to grow the Building Surveying team. This is a client-facing role offering genuine responsibility, the opportunity to mentor a Graduate Surveyor through their APC and excellent long-term career progression.
Role and Responsibilities of the Associate Building Surveyor:
- Delivering professional Building Surveying services across a diverse property portfolio
- Managing projects from inception through to completion
- Undertaking Contract Administration and Project Management duties
- Preparing dilapidations claims and providing Party Wall advice
- Carrying out building inspections, defect diagnosis and technical reporting
- Preparing specifications and tender documentation
- Managing client relationships and supporting business development
- Mentoring a Graduate Surveyor through their APC
Skills & Experience of the Associate Building Surveyor:
- MRICS qualified Building Surveyor
- Minimum of 3 years’ post-qualified experience
- Strong Project Management, Party Wall and Dilapidations experience
- Excellent technical and client-facing skills
- Leadership experience or the desire to mentor junior surveyors
- Commercially aware with strong organisational skills
- Full UK driving licence
Salary & Benefits:
