An experienced firm of Chartered Surveyors and Project Managers are seeking a Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Leatherhead. They provide building consultancy services across a wide range of sectors including Ecclesiastical, Health, Education, Commercial and Residential across London and the Southeast. They have an excellent track record of their Surveyors passing their APC and provide excellent training and support to allow you to run your own projects as soon as possible.
Role & Responsibilities of the Graduate Quantity Surveyor:
- Advise on costs involved in building projects
- Evaluation of tenders
- Evaluation of costs and advise on alternative proposals
- Provide advice on implications of different construction methods, materials etc
- Prepare bills of quantities
- Preparation of final accounts
Skills & Experience of the Graduate Quantity Surveyor:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying
- Some industry experience is beneficial but not essential
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
- Passion to start and progress through APC
