Project Coordinator

Exciting new opportunity for a proactive and organised Project Coordinator to join a dynamic, innovative consultancy based in Southampton. Working as part of a close-knit, collaborative team you will assist with project coordination, administrative tasks, and document management. 

The role will provide excellent scope to develop your skills with opportunities for growth and advancement. Given the nature of some of their projects security clearance is essential. Applicants must be willing to undergo a security vetting process, this requires UK residency for the past 5 years.

Key Responsibilities of the Project Coordinator:

  • Coordinate project activities, assist in planning, scheduling, and tracking progress.
  • Provide administrative support, including managing emails, calls, and calendars.
  • Prepare and organise documents, reports, and presentations.
  • Maintain finance tracker for live projects, managing costs.
  • Coordinate meetings, take minutes, and track action items.
  • Arrange travel, accommodation, and itineraries for the team.
  • Prioritise tasks and provide ad-hoc support to senior management as needed.

Qualifications & Skills of the Project Coordinator:

  • Previous experience in project coordination or administrative roles
  • Current security clearance, or willingness to undergo security vetting process is essential
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, comfortable client-facing
  • Strong organisational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
