An exciting opportunity for a Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join an independent multi-disciplinary consultancy based in Surrey. They have an excellent track record of delivering quantity surveying, building surveying and project management services across a wide range of sectors including: commercial, retail, healthcare, residential, education and hotels. Their cost management team provide a comprehensive range of services from site acquisition all the way through to project completion. The successful candidate will be passionate about continuous mentoring and long-term development.
Role & Responsibilities of the Graduate Quantity Surveyor:
- Pre and post contract work
- Advise on costs involved in building projects
- Evaluation of costs and advise on alternatives
- Evaluation of tenders
- Prepare bills of quantities
- Prepare final accounts
Skills & Experience of the Graduate Quantity Surveyor:
- Degree level graduate
- Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
- Prioritizing workloads and delivering to deadlines
Pay & Benefits:
- £25K – £33K (d.o.e.)
