Bid Co-ordinator

A well respected regional surveying consultancy are looking to employ a Bid Writer to join their office based in the New Forest. As a multi-disciplinary consultancy they provide Architecture, Building Surveying and Quantity Surveying services to a range of public and private sector clients. The bids are predominately for public sector clients including local councils, universities and national public sector frameworks.

Role & Responsibilities of the Bid Co-ordinator:

  • Monitoring tender portals for potential bids
  • Completion of PQQ and ITT documentation
  • Proof reading and formatting information produced by others for tenders
  • Maintaining fee bid list for analysis purposes
  • Collation of project information to prepare and update material needed to support the bidding process including CVs, project record sheets
  • The role may also include general marketing duties including: event organisation, market research preparation of presentations, newsletters and other marketing material

Skills & Experience of the Bid Co-ordinator:

  • Strong bid writing experience
  • Previous experience working for either a construction consultancy or contractor
  • Public sector tender experience would be advantageous
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Attention to detail, comfortable proof reading documents

Salary & Benefits:

  • £30-45k Base salary – DOE
  • 25 days starting holiday
