A well respected regional surveying consultancy are looking to employ a Bid Writer to join their office based in the New Forest. As a multi-disciplinary consultancy they provide Architecture, Building Surveying and Quantity Surveying services to a range of public and private sector clients. The bids are predominately for public sector clients including local councils, universities and national public sector frameworks.
Role & Responsibilities of the Bid Co-ordinator:
- Monitoring tender portals for potential bids
- Completion of PQQ and ITT documentation
- Proof reading and formatting information produced by others for tenders
- Maintaining fee bid list for analysis purposes
- Collation of project information to prepare and update material needed to support the bidding process including CVs, project record sheets
- The role may also include general marketing duties including: event organisation, market research preparation of presentations, newsletters and other marketing material
Skills & Experience of the Bid Co-ordinator:
- Strong bid writing experience
- Previous experience working for either a construction consultancy or contractor
- Public sector tender experience would be advantageous
- Excellent written communication skills
- Attention to detail, comfortable proof reading documents
Salary & Benefits:
- £30-45k Base salary – DOE
- 25 days starting holiday
- Good pension
