We are pleased to be working with a leading real estate consultancy to recruit an Associate Director to join their valuation team in Southampton. You will be joining an experienced team of 7, undertaking a mix of residential and commercial valuations. You will get the opportunity to participate in the valuation of some of the largest and most prestigious buildings in the region.
Role & Responsibilities of the Associate Director – Valuation:
- Provide industry leading valuation advice.
- To maintain and develop contacts with lending institutions/banks/local authorities and academic institutions to secure regular valuation instructions and portfolio work.
- Liaise with the national valuation team, lead valuers and CRMs to provide first class service and advice to our existing internal clients.
- To work with the wider valuation network in London and other business lines such as Capital Markets and Agency teams across the business.
- To support an established team in its business development objectives and continued revenue growth.
Skills & Experience of the Associate Director – Valuation:
- FRICS/MRICS qualified.
- Registered Valuer – though this can be obtained if lapsed.
- Desire to develop and grow the Southampton Valuation Advisory Service.
- Team player who deals effectively with colleagues and clients and enjoys working as part of a team, but is also able to operate autonomously in an efficient and productive manner.
- Proven valuation experience of commercial investment properties and working knowledge of L&T law.
- Good IT skills, in particular Word and Excel, as well as a working knowledge of Argus Enterprise and Development packages.
- Attention to detail, especially when writing valuation reports and reviewing detailed due diligence.

- Salary up to £60,000 base depending on experience
