New opportunity for an Associate Director or Director to join their Building Consultancy team of a leading real estate consultancy in Southampton. It is reporting to the Senior Director. They are looking for 2 people at this level, one will be responsible for leading and managing the team, and the other role can be more delivery focussed. The management role will still require you to undertake instructions for a range of investor and corporate occupier clients.
Role and responsibilities of the Associate Director or Director – Building Consultancy:
They undertake a mix of work, biased towards professional work including
- lead consultancy and contract administration
- dilapidations for both landlord and tenants,
- technical due diligence for investment and occupier purposes,
- refurbishment works and maintenance advice (PPMs).
- Building surveys for investment of occupational purposes
- Defect analysis and providing commercial advice to clients
- Project management
- Mentoring and leading a team of surveyors
Skills & experience of the Associate Director / Director Building consultancy:
- MRICS qualified
- Experience working in a consultancy environment
- Professional building surveying experience
- Comfortable developing business
- Managerial experience (depending on role)
Salary & Benefits:
- Salary £60K to £70K
